In the three-hour live finale of his season, which aired March 24, Grant appeared to struggle on proposal day, as his heart was torn between Juliana and Litia Garr. But, he eventually called it quits with Litia and asked Juliana to marry him.
So far, Grant and Juliana are still going strong. Since the show ended, the couple has been enjoying gushing about their love on social media now that they don't have to keep their romance a secret.
On March 29, Grant penned a sweet message to Juliana on Instagram expressing his love for her. "Jules , I love you," he began and included a purple heart. "Coming into this journey I had parts of myself I was working on and it was clear how much I was crying throughout the show . But you came into my life and showed me what a solid woman is."
He continued, "Someone who loves and lives with no regret . You handle yourself with so much grace and compassion you are what every woman should aspire to be and you show me that everyday. That’s why I won."
The post included photos of them sitting together during the "After the Final Rose" finale segment and another snap of him kneeling on one knee.
In the comments, he tagged Juliana and wrote "my wife."
On her page, Juliana uploaded a carousel of photos of the two kissing, partying with their families and showing off her engagement ring.
She simply captioned the slideshow, "What’s meant to be, will always find its way," and also included a purple heart.
So, how did their time on the show lead to them being in love and planning on moving in together? Read on for a recap of how Grant and Juliana's love story ended on "The Bachelor" and what is next for them.
What happened in Grant's finale?
The first part of “The Bachelor” Season 29 finale ended with Grant professing his love and proposing to the final woman standing. The “After the Final Rose” special that quickly followed revealed if the two are still together today.
During the finale, Grant’s parents, Renee and Robert, and sister, Taylor, met his final two: Litia, a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Salt Lake City, Utah, and Juliana, a 28-year-old client service associate from Newton, Massachusetts.
Although both ladies impressed Grant’s family, his mother seemed to favor Litia. “I would be very happy with Litia. She’d make a great daughter-in-law,” Renee gushed in her confessional interview. But, she told her son to prioritize his happiness and to not let her opinion impact him.
After getting to know Juliana, Renee was more cautious when speaking to Grant. She said she asked Juliana some tough questions and she wasn’t “quite there yet.”
“If she doesn’t tell you she loves you, I’m asking you to walk away from that,” Renee pleaded with her son.
Grant, a 31-year-old day trader from Newark, New Jersey, then sat down with his father, explaining to him that he wants someone who makes him feel comfortable. Robert shared some emotional advice with his son.
“In spite of my madness, you’re still my son, you still love me,” Robert said. “I love the man that you have become.”
After the second family visit, Grant told Juliana he loved her. She replied, “For so long I’ve debated on what it would mean to actually know that I love you. I think I’m finally realizing after meeting your family it’s not one particular moment. I think I’ve known that I love you, too,” she added.
Despite getting advice from his family, Grant remained conflicted. He had already told Litia in the penultimate episode that he was in love with her, but he expressed his strong feelings for Juliana, as well.
Grant had romantic final dates in the Dominican Republic with both women, hoping it would bring him clarity. But on the day of the final rose ceremony, he awoke still unsure who to choose.
“For me to not know what I’m going to do is tearing me up inside. Both of these women are equally amazing and I’m so close to both of them,” he said in a confessional interview.
His father arrived to offer support. Robert reminded him that he deserves to be happy and he should trust himself because his future is “bright.”
Still, Grant struggled to tell host Jesse Palmer which woman to send first. Following a “Bachelor” tradition, the first contestant who arrives to meet the lead is the person who will be eliminated.
“I don’t know,” he said when Palmer asked how he would say goodbye to a woman he loved.
After a delay, Grant finally informed Palmer and producers who he wanted to see first. He explained to the cameras that he was following his heart.
Litia arrived and took a deep breath as she stepped out of the car. But, she immediately smiled when she saw Grant. She told him she was nervous before speaking. “I started falling for you on Week 2 but I didn’t tell you because I don’t like to express it,” she said. “On our one-on-one in Scotland, I knew that I loved you.”
She added that she wanted to give him a family and a happy home filled with children.
“I love you so much and I feel so lucky to be loved by you. You just have shown me how I want to be loved, forever,” she shared.
He told her he was looking for an emotional connection and he found it with her. “You are one of the most amazing, beautiful women that I’ve ever met. You deserve love and you deserve to be treated right … This is hard for me.”
“I’m not your person,” he continued after saying he loved her. He apologized and said he had a stronger emotional connection with someone else.
She asked when everything changed, and he insisted that it hadn’t. She said she viewed him differently as the live audience applauded her. Litia said she got the answers she was looking for and he wasn’t who she thought he was.
Litia said Juliana was beautiful and she expected her to have a lot of questions. As he walked her out, she said the “switch up” from Grant makes this situation more “devastating.” After some push back, he took responsibility for hurting her.
“I just want to be so clear that I’m confused and I’m sad. And I’m mad,” she told him before departing.
Did Grant and Juliana get engaged?
After the tearful breakup, Juliana met Grant and reflected on their journey together.
“Grant, not too long ago, there was a part of me that believed I may not be deserving of true love,” she began. “But today, I stand in front of a man who gave me a reason to fight those beliefs.”
She recalled them laughing about her basketball skills on an early group date and falling for him in Scotland. Juliana said she felt like a woman deserving of his love. She promised to create a “safe space” for him on his tough days.
“I just want you to know that I love you and you’d make me the luckiest girl in the world if I could spend the rest of my life with you,” she added.
He replied, “Through this whole journey, you have been someone that has inspired me. You keep me laughing with your contagious smile.”
Grant called her his best friend and said he will be there for her in all her darkest moments as “her man, her friend and her partner.”
He then lowered to one knee and asked Juliana to marry him. She swiftly responded, “Yes! A million times yes!” They shared multiple kisses and repeated how much they loved each other. He also asked her to accept his final rose.
“Always and forever,” they agreed.
Are Grant and Juliana still together?
During the “After the Final Rose” segment of the finale, Grant and Juliana updated Palmer on what has happened since the day they got engaged. She walked out and greeted Grant with a kiss, marking their first public appearance as a couple, as the audience crowd cheered.

Juliana squealed as she showed off her ring to the camera. “This moment just feels so surreal. This whole journey has felt like a fever dream,” she told Palmer. Juliana also shared that they have built a deeper connection over the last few months.
Grant chimed in and said he chose Julianna for her “outlook on life, her demeanor and her character.” He said they developed a solid foundation for both a friendship and a relationship.
As for Grant struggling until the last minute to make a choice? Juliana didn’t seem too bothered. She said she gave Grant “grace” and she is confident in who she is and what they have.
Next up, Grant and Juliana are moving to Boston together. But before they relocate, the show announced they are sending the happy couple to Italy.
