Jenna Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager, took part in couples therapy before his recent appearance with her on TV.

While speaking to guest co-host Olivia Munn on the April 1 episode of TODAY with Jenna & Friends, Jenna revealed that she and Henry spoke to a therapist before they co-hosted the show on March 27 and 28.

"He's ... not in television or anything of that matter, like at all. So we did do therapy the Sunday before he hosted the show, just about his nerves," she said. "I just wanted to make sure that working together didn't ruin the flow at home."

Munn, who called the news "interesting," asked Jenna if co-hosting with Henry affected her home life. Jenna replied, "No, it didn't ruin the flow."

Jenna explained that Henry "did well" when he came on the show and that she also got the same feedback from her viewers.

“I was on book tour with my sister, and these people were like, ‘Now, Henry was so cute,’” Jenna said in an accent.

“Oh my gosh. He was really cute,” Munn added.

“Thank you,” Jenna replied.

While co-hosting the show last week, Jenna and Henry shared some interesting details about their relationship, like the first time they kissed.

“I’m just going to say it,” Jenna said on the show at the time. “It was to Lil’ Troy, a song we can’t say on TV. Lil’ Troy was a rapper back in the day. We were dancing and all of a sudden, you shot your shot.”

“I mean, well, I don’t think you can say that on the 10 a.m. hour of television, but, I went in for the kiss,” Henry said.

Jenna joked that Henry ended up doing “the walk of shame out of the White House” when they were dating, which made him blush.

“Honey!” he said.
