Markets see dramatic losses for second day as trade war escalates

Wall Street on Friday saw a second day of dramatic losses with recession fears growing from President Donald Trump’s sweeping reciprocal tariffs. JP Morgan now expects the economy “to contract under the weight of the tariffs” and that a recession will drive unemployment to 5.3%. It comes as China is hitting back and announcing a 34% tariff on all goods imported from the United States. NBC’s Christine Romans reports for Saturday TODAY.
